Kanjanapa to face tough questions : Klanarong.
Kanjanapa Honghern, personal secretary of ousted prime minister's wife, will face questions that dug deep into details when she testified with Assets Examination Committee over sales of Shin Corp to Singapore on Friday, an AEC committee member said.
It was because she was said to handle the controversial deal on behalf of Panthongtae Shinawatra, the eldest son of deposed prime minister, Thaksin, Klanarong Chantik said.
"The sub committee has prepared about 50-60 questions to ask Kanjanapa and they would be both similar and different from those of Panthongtae. However the questions would go into more details as Panthongtae had claimed that Kanjanapa handled the deal on his behalf,"
Kanjana was the second person to testify on the case with AEC's sub committee at 10am on Friday after Pantongtae gave his testimony on the case on Wednesday.
Panthongtae informed AEC that it was Kanjanapa who took care of the sale of his Shin Corp shares to Temasek Holdings and he just signed the paperwork.
During his testimony, Panthongtae mostly responded to questions with "I don't know.
In order to avoid the waiting media, she arrived at the AEC office at about 7.35am. although she is scheduled to testify over the controversial deal at 10am.
Waiting for Kanjanapa at the entrance of AEC building, the media found out this fact from Kanjanapa's lawyer, Theerapat Srichaiya, who walked into the building alone at about 10am.
