Sum System has introduced online English language training under the "D'Eng Club" brand, which it is positioning as an education community for the young generation and teachers.
!Ubol Suthana, managing director of Sum System, said the company had developed interactive English learning for kids and would make D'Eng Club a fun activity for learning.
She said it is designed to help lay the foundation for further enhancement in English language skills as well as for teachers, who will get access to international standard materials.
The curriculum was developed by experts who have experienced "adventure learning" methods, while it also used native speakers of other languages in the process of program development.
!D'Eng Club emphasises a learning experience derived through correct listening and pronouncing phonetically, in accordance with native speakers.
"Through reading, writing, combining words and understanding new vocabularies, D'Eng Club adheres to international standards," Ubol said.
She said the system would also enable teachers and parents to conduct home schooling in English and to make it fun to learn.
The curriculum comprise six modules: English Practice, Teacher's Manual, Fun Activities, Tools, Interactive Multimedia, and Training of English Teaching Techniques.
The company has included a camera accessory set that helps parents to monitor the learning development. This allows a snapshot from the classroom for the parents to see the learning environment through the Internet, either on a mobile phone or computer.
D'Eng Club will be officially launched from March 30 to April 10 at Queen Sirikit convention centre during the National Book Fair.
!Ms Ubol added that in future the company will introduce a franchising system to spread the service.
!Currently, primary target groups of the company include organisations that need online training tools, education institutes, schools, universities as well as anyone in the general public who has an interest in pursuing online and interactive training courses.
