Students win fashion awards

Students from Khon Kaen and Chulalongkorn Universities have won the third Grand Sport Young Designer Awards held by Grand Sport Group, a manufacturer and exporter of sportswear and sporting goods.

Grand Sport president Suchada Nimakorn said the contest's goal was to offer opportunities to young people interested in designing fashionable sportswear.

The 200 entries featured men's and women's apparel for a variety of activities including football, basketball, tennis, badminton, golf and aerobic dance.

Chiraphon Duangkam of Khon Kaen University won in the men's design category and Chalermkij Bhokamas of Chulalongkorn University won in the women's category. They will receive the HRH Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana trophy and a 30,000-baht prize.
