Accord well received
The new Honda Accord sedan has been well received, with 1,500 bookings in the first 20 days since its launch, exceeding expectations by 50%, according to Honda Automobile (Thailand) Co.
Based on the response, Honda has projected bookings to reach 2,500 units by the end of this month.
Honda is aiming for domestic sales of 10,000 units and exports of 18,000 units within one year after the Accord was launched in November.
Starting next month, Honda said it would lower the prices of all models by 30,000 to 110,000 baht depending on the model.
The revised prices of E20-compatible Honda models will be announced this month. All 2008 models will be E20- compliant to meet the needs of drivers seeking alternative fuels.
