Backes tackles environmental issues by building a house of bamboo and a sculptural tree, which serve to raise awareness on global warming.

- Heart of the Kingdom, photography exhibition by Dacho Buranabunpot, at the National Gallery, Chao Fa Road. Until January 16.

Thailand's internationally-recognised lensman Dacho Buranabunpot unveils a collection of photographs of HM the King during the 60th anniversary celebrations of HM's accession to the throne, and Her Majesty the Queen during her recent visit to Russia.

Maethawee reflects on this world where attachment and obsession dominate a man's emotional landscape, using animated characters and break-down colours.
