Christmas festivities

CentralWorld has kicked off the holiday season with a 30-metre-high Christmas tree, a two-metre-high ginger bread cottage and an electric Santa made of over 2,000 light bulbs. Be dazzled by the tallest Christmas tree in Southeast Asia, being displayed at the CentralWorld Square, and decorated with gigantic pop-up cards in different styles.

In the Central Court on the first floor are the ginger bread cottage and another 20-metre-high Christmas tree, decorated with Christmas angels, which will be on display until January 4, 2008.

The Global Winter Festival is filled with activities, the highlight of which is the electric Santa, a specially designed Santa Claus decked with a 2,000-light-bulb-plus art installation imported from Japan. Santa will be in the house until January 16 at Forum Zone on the first floor. Apart from these specialties, Christmas treats and decorative items will be on sale, along with cookies and pastries workshops, until January 6.

"The World of Happiness" will provide photo opportunities with Mickey Mouse and his friends, Minnie Mouse, and Donald Duck, who will also perform an unforgettable show and join the "Meet and Greet with Mickey" from December 24 to 31, while Santa Claus will offer his services from Friday to December 25.
