Chrysler's ECO future
At the Detroit motor show next month, America's fabled car stable will unveil three significant concept cars under new owner Cerebus in an attempt to once again shed off its shaky future image
Chrysler Ecovoyager
This concept is a downsized version of the current Voyager MPV featuring only two rows of seats. Note the familiar chrome grille up front. The Ecovoyager midi-MPV has a zero-emission fuel-cell powertrain with a claimed driving range of 480km.
Jeep Renegade
Jeep could be looking at something even smaller and simpler than the Wrangler. The Renegade 4x4 only has two seats, measures 3,885mm in overall length, open-top body and diesel/electric hybrid drivetrain capable of a claimed 38kpl.
Dodge Zeo
Not to be confused with the Mazda MX5-chasing Demon concept, the Zeo is another sporty interpretation with a low-slung, two-door, hatchback-style body along the lines of BMW's previous M Coupe'.
The Zeo has pure electric power from lithium-ion battery.
