Funds for NGV buses
PETROLEUM :The Energy Conservation Fund, in collaboration with the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, has allotted a budget of two billion baht in soft loans for city bus operators to modify vehicle engines to run on natural gas.
The goal is to halve the diesel usage by 4,000 city buses in Bangkok, said Punnachai Footrakul, vice-president for NGV marketing with PTT Plc.

Coke Zero campaign
BEVERAGES :Coca-Cola (Thailand) Ltd has begun a new campaign to promote sales of Coke Zero, its non-sugar cola.
The company said Coke Zero within six months had become the leader in the diet/light cola segment with a 54% share of the 862-million-baht market.
According to company data, the overall non-alcoholic ready-to-drink market is worth 224 billion baht in 2007, divided into carbonated beverages accounting for 25%, juice (12%), water (14%), dairy (28%), tea, coffee, energy drinks and soya drinks (21%).
