International reserves rise $400m to $85bn
International reserves totalled $85 billion as of Dec 7, compared with $84.6 billion the week before, the Bank of Thailand said yesterday. The net forward position was $18.1 billion as of Dec 7, compared with $18.3 billion the week before. Net claims on government were 154.1 billion baht, compared with 162.6 billion. Net policy credits were -1,472.7 billion baht, compared with -1,479.1 billion.
Reserve money totalled 877.9 billion baht, compared with 863.2 billion the week before.
