Key politicians to join debate

Political leaders will gather at the Centara Hotel in the CentralWorld shopping complex today for a debate organised by the Bangkok Post and its associates on economic issues in the run-up to the Dec 23 general election.

Participants include Democrat party leader Abhisit Vejjajiva, Puea Pandin leader Suvit Khunkitti, People Power party economic chief Mingkwan Sangsuwan, Chart Thai economic leader Suchart Jaovisidha and Ruam Jai Thai Chart Pattana deputy leader Kasemsant Weerakun.

The three-hour debate in Thai will start at 2pm and will be broadcast live on TITV, Radio Thailand and Business Radio FM 98. Channel 11 will re-run the programme at 8.30pm. Admission is free.

The partnership comprises Post Today, TITV, Channel 11, the National Institute of Development Administration, Business Radio, the National Broadcasting of Thailand and King Prajadhipok's Institute.
