A common hassle for campers is somebody stumbling over your guy lines - causing the tent to loosen or, worse, collapse.
Attaching a light object like a plastic bag or tissue paper to the guy line on the side where people are likely to walk will make the line more visible and save you from having to re-erect the tent in the middle of the night.
