People Power Party complains of political harassment
People Power Party deputy leader Gen Ruangroj Mahasaranond Sunday called on the military to stop their political harassment against his party calling on them to let the public freely decide who they will vote to run the country.Ruangroj said the military set up checkpoints at every stage where the party set up in Chiang Rai. He alleged that it had intention to block voters from going to the party's rally stage. The military also intimidated village heads and kamnan not to associate with the party."I witnessed the incident by myself. I feel worried but not because I fear the party will not win. I fear that the military does not let the election go according to democratic way,'' he said.
