The Pride of Hua Hin People to celebrate auspicious fire for 24th Sea Games

At 13.30 on 11th November 2007, Hua Hin Disrtict, Prachuap Khirikhan Province took part in receiving and celebrating the auspicious torch of 24th Sea Games while Mr. Sanit Boonkosarng, Prachuap Khirikhan Vice Governor, Mr. Phisit Soontreerat, Prachuap Khirikhan Vice Governor, Mr. Prasit Boonlikit, Hua Hin District Chief Officer, Mr. Withun Losirilak, Hau Hin Vice Mayor, Head of Affairs section and the general public were welcomed at Phon King Phet Public Park.
In December 2007, Thailand has received the highest honor and will host and hold the 24th Asian great sport competition or Nakhonratchasima Games which will be held from 6th – 15th December, 2007 at HM the King’s 80th Birthday Anniversary Celebration Stadium, Nakhonratchasima Province.
Hua Hin City has been given the honor to receive and continue the Auspicious Torch of the Sea Games. HM the King has given the Auspicious Fire to competition coordinative committees and the committees in charge of the Auspicious Fire planned a running route and Auspicious Fire celebration on 11th November, 2007.
There were 4 receiving points, the first point Mr. Prasit Boonlikit, Hua Hin District Chief Officer received the Auspicious torch in front of the Prachuap Khirikhan Highway District (Hua Hin) and continued to the second point in front of Chatchai Market to Mr. Withun Losirilak, Hua Hin Vice Mayor and ran to the third point in front of the Clock Tower to Mr. Phisit Soontreerat, Prachuap Khirikhan Vice Governor.
Finally, the Auspicious torch was continued to Mr. Sanit Boonkosarng, Prachuap Khirikhan Vice Governor at the forth point to place on the torch holder for the celebration of the Sea Games.
After that at 08.30 on 12th November, 2007, Mr. Phisit Soontreerat, Prachuap Khirikhan Vice Governor, participated in the procession which saw the Auspicious torch off to the next province, Ratchaburi.
