A bonanza for 'MyLife' readers

Are you stressed out week after week and are looking for ways to handle the stress skillfully?

Are you looking to working well under extreme pressure and managing power artfully?

Here is your chance to achieve all the above by answering a simple question:

- Tell us in one or two paragraphs why and how Vanessa Race's columns in 'MyLife' has helped you develop your skills or brains?

The winner will attend a two-day retreat, not including transportation costs, to Nakorn Nayok.'

He or she could also get a chance to be published, as after the retreat, he or she will have to write a 400-word article about experiences at the retreat.

The retreat is on September 5 and 6, and is conducted by Vanessa Race. Topics will be "What is True Power?", "Handling Power Skillfully", "The Art of Mindfulness, "Getting What We Really Want", "The Secret of Happiness", Being Present at Home", etc.

It is based on the book by Thich Nhat Hanh, The Art of Power.

The retreat will be in English, with simultaneous translations in Thai by Sister Niramisa.

All entries for the contest should be emailed to mylife@bangkokpost.co.th, no later than 4pm on August 26.

The winner's name will be published on August 28 and details of the trip have to collected from the Bangkok Post's office by September 1. Please bring valid ID.
