Meanwhile, five of the alleged robbers re-enacted the heist at four places in Bangkok. The robbery took place on November 29.
Police took one suspect, Anont Puang-amphai, to retrieve the money he hid at a resort near Mae Chan Dam in Phetchaburi's Nong Ya Plong district.
Police have recovered all but Bt1 million of the Bt18 million stolen.
The suspects re-enacting the heist were Anont, Wanlop Soisong, Suriya Painarin, Bundit Theungnok and Prakrit Thongtang.
The first part of the re-enactment was in front of a 7-Eleven in Soi Paholyothin 22 where the Samco van driver Kranchai Ood-amart and security official Thavorn Mongkolnam put some money into an ATM. Wanlop, Bundit, Anont and Uthit Jansamphao, another suspect, shadowed them.
The next place was a Petronas petrol station on Senanikhom Road where four suspects attacked Kranchai and Thavorn and handcuffed them. Three of them then drove the armoured car away, following by Wanlop in a sedan.
The armoured car was taken to Senaniwet 2 Housing Estate where six money bags were hidden in a nearby forest. Anont guarded the money bags.
The last re-enactment was in Panya Indra Housing Estate zone P5 where the handcuffed Kranchai and Thavorn were dumped from the van.
