Thaksin children cast votes
(BangkokPost.com) – Ousted prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra’s three children casted their votes in Bang Plad district this morning.
Thaksin’s son Panthongtae accompanied his two younger sisters Pinthongta and Paethongtan to the polling station in district 12 early this morning without talking much to reporters.
Ms Pinthongta only stated that her father "misses Thailand" and wants to return as soon as possible.
On Dec 21, People Power party member Chalerm Yubamroong delivered a public speech in which he claimed that Mr Thaksin was due to return on February 14, Valentine’s Day.
Mr Panthongtae did not confirm the report, saying only that his father will return home “whenever he gets the chance to.”
