No parking in these sois

The Royal Gazette of January 3 contains a prohibition on vehicles stopping or parking in specified sois. It requires some sois to be one way, too.

The direction is aimed at easing traffic congestion.

The volume of traffic on many roads and sois has increased, while thoroughfares are limited, resulting in heavy congestion, the Royal Gazette said. The following regulations are effective immediately.

1. Vehicles are prohibited stopping or parking along the first 50 metres of Soi Jathuchoke on Sukhaphibal 5 Road at all times.

2. Vehicles are prohibited from parking at all times along the first 50 metres of Soi RamIndra 40 from RamIndra Road and the first 50 metres from Nuan Chan Road. Parking in the rest of the soi is banned between 6am and 9am and 4pm and 8pm but. Parking is permitted elsewhere on alternate days.

3. Parking is prohibited at all times along the first 50 metres Soi Lat Phrao 41 and between 5am and 8pm for the remainder of the soi to Klong Lat Phrao.

4. Parking is prohibited along the first 200 metres of the road along the northern side of Klong Phasicharoen between 7am and 9am and 4pm to 6pm, except on public holidays.

5. Parking is prohibited along the southern side of Klong Phasicharoen until the Ban Bon 5 intersection between 7am and 9am and 3pm and 6pm, except on public holidays.

6. Parking is prohibited at all times along the first 50 metres of Soi Rama II until the Rang Pho railway station between 6am and 9am and 4pm and 7pm. Elsewhere parking is prohibited on alternate days.

7. Parking is prohibited at all times from the mouth of Soi Phetkasem 21 until the first intersection.

8. Parking is prohibited at all times from the mouth of Soi Phetkasem 40 to the bridge across Bang Chak Canal.

9. Parking is prohibited at all times from the mouth of Soi Phetkasem 42 to the intersection with the Tha Phra Complex.

10. Parking is prohibited at all times along the first 50 metres of Soi Phetkasem 69 on the Phetkasem Road side and on the Klong Phasicharoen Bridge side. Elsewhere parking is prohibited between 6am and 10am and 3pm and 9pm. Parking is prohibited at all times on the outbound lane along Klong Thaweewattana.

11. Parking is prohibited at all times along the first 50 metres Ratchadaphisek 32 and 36.

12. Soi VibhavadiRangsit 9 is one way from Phaholyothin Road to VibhavadiRangsit Road at all times.

13. The southern Rajdamnoen Klang Road from Tanao Intersection to Dao Siam Intersection is one way and parking is prohibited between 6am and 9am and 4pm and 8pm.

14. Parking is prohibited on the southern side of Pran Nok Road opposite Siriraj Hospital from Siriraj Intersection to Pran Nok Pier between 5am and 10pm, except on Sundays.
