VALENTINE'S CONCERT
After over 40 years in showbiz, Setha Sirachaya is having his first solo concert in his life. Entitled "An Unforgettable Valentine Concert", the show will take place at the Royal Paragon Hall of Siam Paragon on Feb 14 at 6:30pm.
Held under the concept of "Elegant Romance", the concert will be set in a warm and romantic atmosphere with guest singers such as Nantida Kaewbuasai, The Impossibles, and Setha's only daughter Ief.
One of Thailand's most successful entertainers, Setha started off his musical career as the lead vocalist for The Impossibles, the famed string combo of the '70's. The group was among the first Thai pop bands to cover English-language songs and the first Thai group to record an English-language album overseas during their European tour.
After the band split in 1977, Setha headed for the film industry, becoming a full-time actor on both big screen and television before taking up the post of a director for Ratcha Film production house in 1986.
He was also famed as an MC for "Ma Tam Nad" game show for which he was paired with Yanee Jongwisut. Currently, he has his own production house producing several award-winning TV programmes.
Tickets for "An Unforgettable Valentine Concert" cost 1,000, 1,500, 2,000 and 2,500 baht and can be purchased from Thaiticketmaster booths. Call 02-262-3456 or visit http://www.thaiticketmaster.com
